Sochi Casino and Resort complex will officially open in the gambling zone “Krasnaya Polyana” on 5 January 2017, project managers and government representatives told reporters on Wednesday.
“Sochi Casino and Resort is a five-star complex, situated in a mountain resort of Gorky Gorod. The project has no analogues in Russia and includes a casino, two restaurants, bar, banquet hall, cabaret theatre, a conference hall and boutiques”, a deputy general manager of the complex, Paul Edwards, said at a presentation of the project held in Moscow.
Establishment of a gambling zone in Sochi has become possible after the signing of an executive order of the Russian Government in August regarding the creation of Krasnaya Polyana gambling zone in Sochi. The area of the gambling zone will amount to 16.5 hectares.
