Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation expects to sign a basic contract for construction of a nuclear science and technologies center, president of Rusatom Overseas incorporated in Rosatom, Yevgeny Pakermanov, told reporters on Monday.
ASE Group, the corporation’s engineering division, together with the Education Ministry of Zambia have signed a contract for a preliminary survey to be conducted for the purpose of establishing a center for nuclear science and technologies. The signing took place on Monday at 2017 ATOMEXPO international forum.
The nuclear center is planned to be built with the participation of the Russian Federation.
“We expect that the harmonization and signing of a general contract for construction of a nuclear science and technologies center will be held until the end of 2017,” Mr. Pakermanov said.
