The authorities of the Perm region, Russia, and Perm Concession Company, a subsidiary of II Holding incorporated in VTB Group, have signed a concession agreement on bridge construction across the Chusovaya River and access roads to it.
A volume of investment in the project amounted to 14 billion rubles ($237 million), Governor of the Perm region, Maxim Reshetnikov, announced at the opening ceremony. The Governor’s press office added that 9 billion rubles would be allocated from the federal budget and 3 billion rubles more would be invested by the concessioner. The rest of the funding are expected to be raised from the regional budget.
Meanwhile, Russian Transport Minister, Maxim Sokolov, noted that constriction activities at the site would be launched as early as this year.
