The Chinese authorities have invited Russia to consider a project for the creation of a high-speed railway running from Changchun (China) to Vladivostok (Russia), first Secretary of the Party Committee of Jilin province, Bayin Chaolu said at a meeting with first Deputy Minister of the Russian Federation for the development of the Far East, Alexander Osipov.
“A project for creating a high-speed railway from Changchun to Vladivostok is offered by Chinese investors. We are confident in prospects of such a route, especially considering the fact that it is within a single line to Beijing. We believe that this project is interesting to both the Chinese and Russian parties”, the representative of Jilin province said.
