Andrey Vorobyov, Governor of the Moscow region, Russia, said in an interview to “360” TV channel that the Japanese car company planned to start production in the region.
“I'm not going to reveal the name, but our Japanese colleagues have already placed for consideration on the negotiations (the relevant documents. — editor’s note) and received approval to build a plant in the Moscow region. As soon as we receive the papers, we will name the manufacturer and the model planned to be produced,” the Governor said.
Earlier, the Governor of the Moscow region reported that in Yesipovo industrial park the construction of a Daimler plant was launched, the completion of which was scheduled for 2019.
