Gazprom, a Russia gas giant, is likely to use a gas pipeline built under the project of Power of Siberia 2 for swap gas supplies to India.




This statement as made by Chairman of the Board of Directors of PJSC Gazprom, Alexey Miller, over the course of a press conference, Rambler News reports on June 30.

As a reference, Power of Siberia pipeline is a natural gas pipeline, which is being built in Eastern Siberia to transport gas from the Russian region of Yakutia to the Primorsky region and the Far East states.

As it was reported earlier, this week, the Petroleum and Gas Minister of India, Dharmendra Pradhan, negotiated gas supplies with his Russian counterpart Deputy Energy Minister Yuri Sentyurin and the representatives from Gazprom Holding.
