Gazprom, a Russian gas holding, has already built 719 km of the linear part of the Power of Siberia pipeline, as it follows from the company’s message, Rambler News reports on Thursday.

“Construction of the Power of Siberia is being carried out at a fast pace. Up to date, 719 km of the linear part of the pipeline has been built,” the company's Deputy Chairman of Board of Directors, Vitaly Markelov, said.

We should remind you that in mid-April, Gazprom reported that over 650 km of the pipeline had been completed then.

As previously reported, in 2017, the Russian gas holding plans to build more than 600 km of the Power of Siberia.

The Power of Siberia is an under construction gas pipeline designed to supply gas from the Russia region of Yakutia to the Asia-Pacific region. This is a joint project of Gazprom and China's CNPC.
