Russian President Vladimir Putin during his telephone conversation with President of Venezuela Nicolas Maduro discussed joint projects of the two countries in the fuel and energy complex.
“The heads of the states exchanged views on a number of practical issues in Russian-Venezuelan cooperation, in particular, discussed the implementation of mutually beneficial joint projects in the fuel and energy complex”, the Kremlin’s press office reports on Tuesday.
In addition, the Venezuelan leader told the Russian President about the efforts of his government to normalize the political situation in the country.
As a reference, Venezuela has the largest conventional oil reserves and the second-largest natural gas reserves in the Western Hemisphere.
