More than 3,000 objects of military and social infrastructure are to be built in 2017 for the RF Ministry of Defence. By now, 587 have been commissioned, RIA Novosti reports referring to Timur Ivanov, Deputy Minister of Defence.
The commissioned objects include 423 premises of special application (72%), 72 buildings (12 %) refer to social infrastructure and housing, and 92 buildings (16 %) are the objects of capital repair, Mr Ivanov enumerated.
Also, work has been completed in 162 buildings, and the necessary documents for commissioning are being prepared at the moment.
On the whole, by the end of the year, the Ministry of Defence is to receive 3,160 buildings and structures, including 91% of special and military application, 5% of social infrastructure, and 4% of housing.
75% of the total financing making 118.5 bln roubles (≈$2 bln) is targeted at the operational sites development, new weapons location, construction of arsenals and ranges.
