Drivers of cars will be able to use the automobile part of the bridge across the Kerch Strait as early as the second half of May.
This is what deputy head of Stroygazmontazh company, Leonid Ryzhenkin, told the media on Thursday. He has stressed that the car traffic will open before the summer season starts, according to the schedule.
The construction of the longest bridge in Europe started two years ago. The throughput of this transport passage is 40,000 cars.
Earlier, Mr. Ryzhenkin announced that the road part of the Crimean Bridge had been asphalted and the tests were being conducted at the site.
