An investor from Japan intends to build a hydrogen plant in the Russian city of Magadan and is currently looking for a suitable construction site, RIA Novosti reported on Tuesday.
In this regard, the delegation of the Japanese company Kawasaki Heavy Industries arrived in Magadan, where representatives of the Magadan region’s government will provide foreign partners with the information necessary for the project development.
According to the Japanese company, the delegation plans to visit potential construction sites, hold a meeting with the seaport administration and study the economic situation in this Russian region.
“This is an absolutely innovative project. For several years, the Japanese company has been preparing its feasibility study”, the governor of the Magadan region, Vladimir Pecheny, commented on the plans of the Japanese partners.
