As a result of last year, Monaco remains the most expensive housing market in the world. This conclusion was made by analysts of Savills.




So, in 2017, the cost of housing in the premium segment in Monaco increased by 6% compared to the figure of 2016, amounting to more than 41,000 euros for a square meter. Experts have explained that Monaco’s status of the most expensive housing market in the world has been provided due to high demand with limited supply. At the same time, during the last 4 years, the volume of transactions in the country has exceeded 2 billion euros annually.

The second place in the list of countries with the most expensive residential real estate is held by Hong Kong, where the price per square meter in the premium segment is lower by 13% than that in Monaco.
