The Russian capital has entered the Top 10 of world cities with the highest rental value of premium-class offices, conceding to such cities as Hong Kong, New York, London, and Tokyo.
The consulting company Knight Frank has carried out an analysis and found out that as of 2017, the average cost of renting such offices in Moscow was $782 per square meter per year. The segment of expensive business centers in Moscow is represented by ten facilities. At the same time, in the Moscow market of offices, the average rental rate is lower than that in the premium segment almost twice.
In recent years, it was mainly companies operating in media, telecommunications, and technology that rented premium offices in the Russian capital cities. Banks and financial institutions hold the third place in this list.
