Russian millionaires with assets of over $30 m are among the top three richest visitors of such famous events, as Oktoberfest in Germany, yachts show and Formula-1 Grand Prix in Monaco, according to the international research of Knight Frank The Wealth Report 2016.
Popularity of these events among wealthy Russians is brought about by their interest to real estate of the region.
“Traditionally, Monaco is among five most popular countries for foreign real state purchasing by Russian millionaires. Security, favourable tax regime, high living standard and extensive cultural life have been attracting to Monaco the wealthy people not just from Russia, but also from all over the world. Among other popular regions, there is Switzerland, Great Britain and Germany”, - Knight Frank director for foreign real estate, Marina Kuzmina, commented the report.
