The Greek Ministry of Finance has adjusted the fixed tax for owners of ENFIA real estate. In most regions of the country, it will be increased.
According to a decree issued on June 12, 2018, the Greek Ministry of Finance establishes new zones, according to which the fixed tax on ENFIA property will be calculated.
In total, there are 10,216 zones of target value throughout Greece. ENFIA rate will be increased in 3,792 zones, reduced in 2,122 zones and remain unchanged in 4,302 zones. At the same time, according to the website of the Greek Finance Ministry, more than 1.4 million owners (or 23%) will pay reduced ENFIA, while 3.9 million (62%) will pay the same tax as the previous year.
