Kimberly-Clark, an American corporation that manufactures hygiene products, intends to invest 3.6 billion rubles ($57 million) in the reconstruction of its plant in the Moscow region, Russia.

The facility is located on a plot of land with an area of 46 hectares in Stupino, a town in the Moscow region, the TASS news agency reported on Tuesday referring to the regional Ministry of Construction.

“Once the facility starts operating at full capacity after reconstruction, additional 70 jobs to 369 existing ones will be created,” the report said.

The reconstruction of the plant, which has been operating in Stupino for almost nine years, will be completed next year.

The U.S. company headquartered in Dallas was established in 1872. Kimberly-Clark entered the Russian market in 1996. Among the products manufactured by the company, there are products of such brands as Kleenex, Huggies and Kotex.
