METRO Cash&Carry, an international self-service wholesaler, has invested about 1.4 billion rubles ($22 million) in the construction of a shopping center, which was built in Odintsovo district of the Moscow region.
The Construction Ministry of the Moscow region has already issued a permit for the company to commission a new shopping complex together with a parking lot and all necessary infrastructure, the body informs. The facility is located in the village of Zhavoronkovskoe.
A shopping center with a total area of over 9,000 square meters will provide an opportunity to replenish the revenue part of the Odintsovo district budget, the report said. In addition, about two hundred jobs will be created there.
