The passport of the Republic of Moldova allows visiting 121 countries without a visa, including all states of the Schengen zone, Turkey, and Russia.
Also, the Republic aspires to become a candidate for membership in the EU. The new program will let citizenship of the Republic to be obtained through a free contribution to the economy of the country: €135 thousand for one applicant, €150 thousand for a couple, €180 thousand for a family of 4 and €190 thousand for a family of 5 and more people.
In addition, there is a state fee (€5,000 for the main applicant, €2,500 for the spouse, €1,000 for the child and €5,000 for the parents), and a security check.
