The Russian company has developed the world's largest construction 3D printer that can print a 6-story building, New Atlas reported on July 17.
The creation of such a printer was announced by the Russian company AMT-SPETSAVIA. As the author of the article James Holloway notes, the volume of this giant printer amounts to 11.5 x 11.0 x 15.0 meters. At the same time, the manufacturer claims that it can be expanded by 80 meters, while the printing speed can reach 2.5 cubic meters of concrete per hour.
It is interesting to observe, Holloway writes, how 3D printing technology goes beyond small architectural objects, such as small houses and one-story office complexes. Now it is more like a large-scale commercial construction, the author concluded.
