Over the past eight months, the number of mortgage transaction in Moscow has grown by 73% compared to the same period of last year.
According to Russia’s Federal Agency for State Registration, Cadastre, and Cartography (Rosreestr), their number amounts up to 54,800.
In August 2018, Rosreestr registered 8,300 mortgage transactions, which is 5% less than a month earlier, but 65% more than in August 2017, according to a press release.
In January-August, 46,800 contracts of equity participation in housing construction were registered, which is 46% more than a year earlier.
As for the secondary market of the Moscow residential real estate, over the past eight months, Rosreestr has registered 94,200 transfers of rights, which is 25% more compared to the same period in 2017.
