This year 9 million square meters of dwelling will be established in Moscow.
Deputy Mayor on urban development Marat Khusnullin talked about it during Saturday’s inspection. According to him, 1.4 m square meters will be constructed at the expense of the city budget while the rest, almost 8 m square meters, will be built by private investors. By the end of July, 5 m square meters (including 2.5 square meters of dwelling space) have been put in commission. 300,000 square meters are apartment-class, which is 10% of all commissioned dwelling in Moscow.
Besides this, 25 nursery schools with total area of 120,000 square meters and 16 schools totaling 200,000 square meters will appear in Moscow this year.
