Guillermo Brusco is appointed the CEO of Lafarge Holcim Russia.




As the company press-service told Construction.ru, his responsibility will cover the questions of strategic development of Holcim Group companies in the Russian market.
His total occupational life in the cement industry is more than 15 years.
Before the integration of two gigantic companies Guillermo Brusco was Director General of Holcim Russia. In Holcim Guillermo started his career in 1988 holding various positions in Cement Manufacturing in Venezuela, the US and Italy. Starting 2003 he served as Plant Manager at Ramos Arizpe Plant, Mexico, and in six years was appointed Operations Vice President Holcim (Argentina).
He graduated from National University of Cordoba, Argentina with master degree in civil engineering. He is also alumnus of the Advanced Management Program, Harvard Business School. Guillermo holds MBA from Bournemouth University, UK. From his work start in 1988 and till joining Holcim Mr. Brusco built his career from site engineer in BRUSCO & LASCANO (Argentina) to Department of Projects and Tenders Manager in CORVIAM, S.A. (Spain).

Our task is to integrate all the directions of the company and transform it commercially. I’m sure that the high professional skills of our team will make it possible to solve all our tasks successfully and efficiently,” Guillermo Brusco said commenting on his appointment.
