Moscow has taken first place in the national rating by the FAS as to the transparency of state procurements.
Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobianin spoke about this at a meeting of the capital’s government. According to him, the contract system in Moscow is the largest in Russia. It includes 10,000 deliverers of work and services. 65bln rubles was saved at different stages of procurement in the first half of the year. According to FAS assessment, Moscow takes first place in the national rating of transparency of state procurements.
The head of the competitive policy department, Gennady Dyogtev, said that, owing to justification evaluation of procurement prices, it was possible to optimize budget expenses by 7.2%. This work helped to save more than 150bln rubles, even at the first stage of 6,300 lots being considered.
To optimize the process of state procurements, contract services are being created in all departments. As compared with the same period in 2014, the growth in contractors’ numbers and concluding contracts with city customers was 9.2%. More than 9,600 contracts were awarded.
