Representatives of JSC Interregional Company “Belkomur” and Poly Technologies Inc. have signed an agreement on the construction of the main railway line “Arkhangelsk – Syktyvkar - Solykamsk”.
As Construction.ru was told by the press office of the Arkhangelsk regional government, according to this agreement, Poly Technologies Inc. will be the general contractor for the project. The company will take part in the financing, designing and construction of the 712km-long new sections of the main line and the updating of 449km of the already existent sections of this railway line.
JSC Interregional Company “Belkomur” and Chinese investors will create a special design company for the preparation of proposals to the RF Government on conducting a concessional agreement for the project. Poly Technologies Inc. is also interested in a construction project in the deep water area of the Arkhangelsk sea port, to be implemented in the framework of the “Belkomur” project.
To remind you, the implementation of the project includes the construction of a new sea transportation hub which must take into account the logistics and traffic capacities of the deep water port 55km to the north of Arkhangelsk. The capacity of the port will be 45m tons a year.
