The BATIMAT RUSSIA International Construction and Interior Exhibition has opened in Moscow

Over 400 production companies from 32 countries are taking part in the event, as our special correspondent Sofia Orlova reports from the ground. A full range of products for construction and interior decorating are being displayed there.

Within the framework of the exhibition, producers, dealers, representatives from trade networks, architects, designers, builders, and developers will be able to conclude new contracts, find new clients, evaluate the situation on the market, visit business events and learn the latest industry news. 

For the first time, the Moscow International Furniture Show (MIFS) is to be held together with BATIMAT RUSSIA. Visitors will be able to select materials for construction and repairs, as well as furniture and décor for interior design.

Within the framework of the business program, the Retail Strategy Forum will take place. The event is dedicated to new trends on the Russian DIY market.

The Russian Builders Union is going to carry out round tables to discuss new rules in the field of construction and pricing. The delegates from the “Skolkovo” fund will talk about the mechanisms supporting innovation projects. The Passive House Institution will carry out a number of seminars on the subject.

At the show, architects and designers will share their experience on how to develop a business and will talk about new trends in interior design.

The winners of the architectural BATIMAT INSIDE contest are to be given awards at the exhibition. The “Innovation” contest will demonstrate the best innovation projects of the year.
