Modern Sports Palace to be built in Kaluga for $64 million

The Ministry of Competitive Policy of the Kaluga region, Russia, has announced a tender for construction of a Sports Palace in the regional capital city. The project is estimated at 3,76 billion rubles (about $64 million).




As it follows from the bidding documents published today on the website of public procurement, the project involves construction of three main various-story units: an ice arena, aquatic complex with a universal gym and a residence of temporary accommodation of athletes.

Sports Palace will have underground parking for hundred parking lots.

The construction of the sports complex will be funded at the expense of the regional budget. The construction time is 2 years.

A contractor will be determined at an auction on July 17.
