The Sakhalin authorities announced construction of a new universal sports complex with an ice arena, which will be located in the region’s capital city. The project is estimated at 290,3 million roubles.
According to the tender documentation published on the website of state procurement on Monday, the sports facility is scheduled to be built in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk, located in Russian region comprising the island of Sakhalin and the Kuril Islands, by the end of 2017.
Bidding applications are submitted until the 24th of October, the auction will take place on the 28th of October, at 9:00 a.m. An ice arena will be built in the two-storey complex, as well as a boxing and weight rooms. The sports zone capacity will be 75 persons per shift, a total capacity is planned to be 300 persons per day.
An ice arena will be located on the first floor and will have a size of two-by-four meters.
