The authorities of the Kamchatka region, Russia, have announced an investment tender for construction of the international terminal at the regional airport.
As Construction.RU was told by the press office of the Far East Development Ministry, a presentation of this ambitious project has been scheduled for today. The regional authorities expect that major investment companies will bid for the right to acquire a majority stake in JSC Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky international airport.
The companies of Airports of Regions, Basel, Novaport have already shown their interest in the project. Earlier, their representatives visited the Kamchatka region, located in Russian Far East, to acquaint themselves with the operating infrastructure of the region.
The projects envisages construction of a terminal with an area of over 24,000 square meters, equipment of a landside. The first phase of construction activities is estimated at 3,1 billion rubles.
