This year the construction of the largest regional air terminal building starts in the airport of Petropavlovsk Kamchatsky, a city in the Russian Far East. The project is estimated at 3 bln roubles.
At present, the regional authorities hold negotiations with a potential investor and work out a scheme of interaction with him, the press office of the regional government told Construction.RU.
Negotiation process and agreeing will take about three or four months, so, the construction will start before the end of 2016.
Last year, the projects on construction and reconstruction of five more northern airports have been approved in Kamchatka. These are Ozernaya, Sobolevo, Ust-Khairyuzovo, Ust-Kamchatsk, Tigil.
Work at the construction sites are scheduled to be completed in 2018.
