A tender is announced for the development of design and estimate documentation for the third bridge over the Uda River in Ulan-Ude, a Russia city located about 100 kilometers southeast of Lake Baikal.
The project is commissioned by Ulan-UdeStroyZakazchik public office. For these purposes, 100 million rubles ($1,7 million) have already been allocated from the city budget, as well as subsidies have been provided from the Republican budget. A winner of the tender will receive the right to conclude an agreement for the development of design and estimate documentation. Applications are accepted until April 20, while the winner is to be announced on April 23. The project should be completed by December 1, 2019.
The new bridge construction is designed to reduce the traffic load of Ulan-Ude due to the arrangement of traffic between the Oktyabrsky and Zheleznodorozhny districts without passing through the city center. The bridge will cross the Uda River and the Trans-Siberian highway. More information on the tender documentation is available at this link.
