A Russian investor has presented a project for the construction of a toll automobile road from Kazakhstan to Belarus through Russia for $6 bln.
As TASS reports, the highway is planned to be put in operation in 2019.
A corridor for the road in the Tambov region has been bought out, and before the end of the year a detailed evaluation of the project, including the cost of the land and construction, will have been carried out. The work will start in 2017 and the object is to be put into operation in 2019.
The highway will begin in the Orenburg region at the “Sagarchin” pass point at the border between Russia and Kazakhstan, and will connect with the M1 federal road in the Smolensk region at the border with Belarus.
