A Chinese investor has embarked upon the implementation of a project for the construction of a mushroom complex in the Penza region.
Manufacturing will be put in operation in the fourth quarter on the territory of the “Davydov” industrial park, located in the Shemysheika district, the regional press office told Construction.RU.
The project requires investments of 180 mln roubles, and 250 new jobs will be created there.
As a reminder, in November, 2014, the authorities of the Penza region signed a memorandum of understanding with the Chinese company Shandong Qihe Bio Teсhnology Co Ltd,
The complex construction includes 35 premises with a total area of more than 20,000 m2, including 30 mushroom cultivation chambers. The projected productive capacity of the complex will be 7 tons of mushrooms per day.
Additionally, the Penza region is one of Russia's leading producers of wheat, cereal and forage crops, vegetables, potatoes and meat.
