On Friday, a London court issued a warrant on the seizure of four Ukrainian businessmen’s assets, against whom the Russian “Tatneft” oil company filed a lawsuit at the end of March.
According to the Life news agency, among these assets is real estate in France and Britain belonging to notorious Ukrainian billionaire Igor Kolomoysky, as well as his yacht and private plane.
The matter concerns his assets, totaling $380m. As the court indictment states, in 2009 the above-mentioned individuals appropriated under false pretences funds belonging to “Tatneft” for oil products supplied to the Kremenchug oil production plant.
Besides Mr Kolomoysky, such business heavyweights as Gennady Bogolyubov, Alexander Yaroslavsky and Pavel Ovcharenko were defendants in the case.
