The infrastructure development of the Russian Navy Training Center for Military Rescuers and Divers has started in the city of Sevastopol.
The work at this important construction site is being conducted by specialists from the South Main Department, the press office of the Special Construction Agency told Construction.ru on Tuesday.
They will erect a building for the storage of military range equipment, a check-point, a platform for mobile autonomous decompression systems, two galleries for 800 spectators and a platform with flagpoles near the command center building.
All these improvements are required specifically because a diving multi-sport competition will be held there within the framework of the “Depth-2016” Army International Games in July.
Besides this, the training range will be reconstructed, fencing will be erected around the perimeter and the inner utility systems will be repaired. At present, the demolition of old buildings is being conducted at the military range.
