The start-up and assembly work on engineering systems and equipment for the Space Objects Tracking Center have been launched in Yeniseisk.
Within the project, the following crucial facilities have been constructed: a warehouse for military and technical equipment, a guard house, a platform for special purpose vehicles, a pump point, a fire station and an electric substation, the press office of the Special Construction Agency told Construction.ru on Thursday.
In summer, the builders have to lay down asphalt and natural features. The work is scheduled to be completed this year. At present, the preparation for object commissioning is underway.
The construction of the Space Objects Tracking Center has been carried out since 2013 with the purpose of improving and developing the missile warning system.
