An official groundbreaking ceremony was held on Thursday at the construction site of a plant to produce polyacrylamide, located on the Saratovorgsintez LLC’s territory.
The project is being implemented by the French SNF company, the regional press office told Construction.ru.
The new enterprise will release 40,000 tons of products per year, with the possibility of a maximum of 100,000 tons. 160 new jobs are planned to be created there. Investment in the project is estimated at 2 bln roubles.
Polyacrylamide is used for sewage purification, reservoir recovery etc.
