Moscow and Tokyo see opportunity for cooperation in the construction and agriculture sectors of economy.
This is what the Russian Ministry of Economic Development told RIA Novosti on Friday following a session of the sub-commission for interregional cooperation between two countries of the Trade and Economy Intergovernmental Commission. The session was held in the Russian city of Khabarovsk.
At the meeting, a Deputy Minister of Economic Development, Alexander Tsybulsky, represented Russian party, and Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan in the Russian Federation, Tikakhito Kharada participated for the part of Japan.
“Over the course of today's session, a special focus has been on the development of investment ties in the Khabarovsk region. Russian and Japan parties indicated the construction and agriculture sectors among the main industries”, - noted the source in the the Russian Ministry of Economic Development.
