Construction of "Zenit-Arena" to be completed for federal money

As Construction.RU has been told today by the city press office, the construction site is now being turned over to a special commission for adoption and object transfer during a month.

Federal financing needs to be attracted to complete the construction of the stadium on Krestovsky island.

Vadim Tulpanov, Chair of the Committee of the Federation Council on preparation and staging of the World Championship-2018, proposed this in his radio interview. To remind you, the stadium on Krestovsky island was planned to be constructed by the end of the year. It was planned to hold the Confederation Cup matches next summer, and in a year – the Football World Championship.

The new general contractor of "Zenit-Arena" is to be determined in the first decade of August, after a tender.
