On the 2nd of August 2016, a groundbreaking ceremony will be held at the construction site of the region’s first solar power station. The facility will be situated in the town of Pugachev.
Capacity of new power station will amount to 15MW, the press office of the regional Industry Ministry told Construction.RU on Friday. Generated energy will be supplied to the wholesale market.
It’s noteworthy that solar module of Russian production will be applied at the construction of the facility. In prospect, power stations of this kind will emerge in the Novouzensky and Yershovsky districts of the Saratov region.
The Saratov region is located in the southeast of European Russia. It has valuable agricultural areas and many water resources.
