A number of contests for new architectural design of the Moscow metro stations are planned to be announced soon, a Deputy Mayor of Moscow for urban construction policy, Marat Khusnullin, told reporters on Friday.
Marat Khusnullin, said that at present, the Moscow authorities decided, which metro stations wuold be included in the contest program. According to him, among them there is likely to be the stations of the Third Interchange Circuit and metro line in the so-called New Moscow – the territory recently adjoined to Moscow.
“Architectural contest should attract new interesting ideas in the area of metro design. Especially as the contests are open for everyone”, - added Deputy Mayor.
