The Government of the Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous district approved on Friday a decree allocating 955,9 million roubles in 2016 to the region’s municipalities, with the purpose to co-fund highways construction, reconstruction and overhaul, the official documents say.
According to the documentation, the funding will be implemented on a basis of applications and guarantee liabilities. The volume of kilometers of roads and the specific places in the region's municipalities are not determined in the document.
According to the data provided by the Department for Road Facilities and Transport of the Khanty-Mansiysk autonomous district, the total length of roads in the region amount to 31,000 kilometers as of the 1st of January 2016. Nearly 22,000 kilometers of them are private, 3,700 kilometers are of local significance, 2,700 kilometers are od regional significance and 345,8 kilometers are the federal roads.
