Eight buildings and installations for Military Forces of Russia will be commissioned before the end of the year on Wrangel Island in the Arctic region.
As the RF Spetsstroy’s press-office has told Construction.RU today, among the objects to commission are an administrative and residential complex, a garage, a building for the shift on duty with the gallery to the garage, water supply module station, service-utility waste treatment module facilities, radar location position, a building for the temporary stay of the armed personnel, a boiler station.
100 builders are working at the infrastructure objects construction at present. In 2016, more than 1,500 tons of cargo were delivered to the island.
Now the new objects are being finished, engineering networks are being adjusted, facades and furniture are assembled. 30 objects more will be commissioned in 2017.
