For the first time, the capital city of Russia was included in the list of TOP-10 most attractive cities for tourists, according to “Best In Travels 2017” guidebook by Lonely Planet, the official website of the Moscow government reports on Wednesday.
The guidebook is scheduled to be issued in November 2016.
Moscow is in the TOP-10 cities along with Los Angeles, Lisbon, Bordeaux and Seoul. According to the guidebook authors, dynamic construction of new metro lines in Moscow will make moving around the city more comfortable. Apart from that, launching a new airport, “Zhukovski”, will provide more convenient flights to Moscow.
In 2017, “Zaryadye” park with an “ice cave” and a “time machine” is planned to be opened in the capital city of Russia. In 2018, Moscow is hosting World Football Championship.
