Regional government of the Russian city of St Petersburg plans to conclude a concession agreement with Pulkovo Airport JSC to reconstruct its concourse number 3 in the first quarter of 2017, the press office of the city’s investments committee told Interfax on Wednesday.
The source pointed out that the reconstruction would be carried out at the expense of Pulkovo Airport JSC, while concession agreements are necessary to provide the company with legal grounds to implement the project, since the concourse is owned by the city administration, not by the airport.
The funds allocated by Pulkovo Airport JSC in the concourse’s reconstruction will not be compensated from the city’s budget, he stressed.
