Russian Helicopters Holding intends to supply to its customers over 220 helicopters in the year 2017, the company’s director, Andrey Boginsky, announced on Tuesday, Rambler News reports.
“I suppose that over 220 helicopters (will be supplied – editor’s note). However, over the course of the first quarter this year, the figures will be refined,” Boginsky told reporters.
According to him, a number of helicopters scheduled for release might be specified in connection with export supplies. Apart from that, the head of the holding noted that in 2017, The Russian Helicopters planned to start state testing of a combat helicopter MI-28HM.
As a reference, Russian Helicopters is the world's 24th-largest defense contractor, according to 2012 defense revenues, and it is also the second-largest one headquartered in the Russian Federation.
