Russian President Vladimir Putin held telephone talks with Prime Minister of Hungary Viktor Orban, the press office of the Kremlin reports on Tuesday.




The conversation between the two leaders was initiated by the Hungarian party.

Vladimir Putin and Viktor Orban discussed topical issues of bilateral relations, including the implementation of agreements reached during the visit of the Russian President in Budapest on 2 February 2017. In particular, the parties expressed satisfaction with the decision of the European Commission, removing obstacles to project implementation of construction with the participation of Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Corporation of two new units at the Hungarian nuclear power plant Paks”, — the message reads.
