Japanese glass factory to be built in Russian Urals

On Thursday, a project for construction of the Urals’ glass factory owned by a subsidiary of the Japanese company Nipro Corporation has been approved.




The facility is planned to be erected in the village of Achit located in the Sverdlovsk region, Russia. As Construction.RU was told by the press office of the Ministry of Investment and Development of the Sverdlovsk region, a volume of investment in the activities at a construction site and the enterprise’s equipment will total 268,5 million rubles.

The new factory will be set up at an industrial site of the former glass manufacture located in the Achit urban district and built as early as 1930s.

The main objective of the reconstruction of the manufacture is the further expansion of sales in Russian market.
