The regional government of the Russian city of St Petersburg has allotted a plot of land in the Moskovsky district for the purpose of building a hockey arena of SKA club.
As Chairman of Investment committee, Irina Babyuk, said at a session of St Petersburg government, a plot of land with an area of 33,000 square meters is located on Yury Gagarin Prospekt, near a sports and concert complex.
A roofed sports complex with an area of 25,000 square meters is planned to be erected there. The facility will include an ice arena with stands and one more arena without them. Apart from that, a sports room, swimming pool and a Center for Hockey Training are planned to be built on that plot of land.
