Inspectors of a project titled “The Map of Broken Roads” published the results of their inspection of the streets in major cities of central Russia.
The worst roads have been revealed in the Russian cities of Kostroma, Tver and Voronezh. The best roads are located in Belgorod, the press service of the Russian People’s Front announced.
First of all, the inspectors examined the highway marked on an interactive map to which caring citizens contribute. They assessed the guaranteed roads renovated in the period between 2012-2016, and highways inspected in 2015. According to the results of such raids, local officials reported on measures taken for the correction of identified defects.
“The situation has certainly changed for the better, but not dramatically,” the project’s coordinator Alexander Vasilyev said.
