“One should not exclude from general prerequisites that it will be economically feasible to build such a pipeline,” Alexander Medvedev noted.
As previously reported, in April, the Energy Ministry of Russia expected to receive from Gazprom an answer on the feasibility of construction of a gas pipeline Sakhalin – Hokkaido.
At the end of last year, the head of the gas holding, Alexey Miller, said that the project could be the subject of negotiations between Russia and Japan.
